Lynchburg Ready for Division Leading Rochester 

Lynchburg, VA- After the Lynchburg Titans (1-9) conquered the second place Pee Dee Vipers (10-3) for their first win of the season, they now get a chance to prove it wasn't just a fluke against the division leading Rochester Razorsharks (14-1).

The Titans have played the Razorsharks only one other time this season resulting in a score they weren't exactly hoping for. On March 2nd the Razorsharks demolished the Titans 132-103.

Lynchburg will have to rely on their key player Jamal Francis who is averaging 32-points per game.

This will be the Titans final home game of the season. Tip-off for Saturday's game will begin at 7:00 p.m.



Lake Michigan Looking to Make a Late Season Run

St. Joseph, MI- On Saturday, March 22nd the Lake Michigan Admirals will host the Indianapolis Diesels for the third time this season.

Neither game ended up well for the Admirals as they are attempting to get their first 'W' against the Diesels this season.

Lake Michigan (6-8) is two and a half games behind Indianapolis (7-5) in the Midwest division, so this may be a critical game in what could be a deciding factor in who advances to the playoffs and who has to start preparing for next season.

The Admirals will be looking to Courtney Blackmore who leads the team with 37 steals to take the ball from the Diesels and keep their scoring chances to a minimum.

Tip-off for the Saturday's game will be at 7:00 p.m.




Erie Desperate in Last Home Stretch

Erie, PA- The Erie Hurricane will be playing their last home game this Sunday, March 23rd at 4 p.m.
 
The Hurricane's last home game will be a battle against the division rival Buffalo 716ers. The team is expecting big numbers from the PBL’s Player of the Week- Lester Jones. He is currently the league runner-up in points per game with 29.5.

The Hurricane’s record is currently 1-11, but they are looking to get wins for the last three games of the season, while the 716ers currently are at 6-7 and chasing a potential playoff spot.
 
Sunday's game will be the Hurricane's last so they will be expecting quite the turnout. General admission is five dollars and children under 3 are free. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
 



Lima Express Looking to Stay on Track with Battle from the Windy City

Lima, OH- The Lima Express take a (5-8) took off on Saturday after a disappointing game in Bloomington on the road, with hopes to hand the Flex their first loss of the season.  

With their playoff hopes not looking the brightest the Express head back home, where Lima will host the Chicago Tide, in their first meeting of the 2014 season.

 

Tip-off on Sunday against Chicago starts at 3:00 p.m EST.




Indianapolis Trying to Avoid the Deadly Sting of the Vipers

Indianapolis, IN- The Indianapolis Diesels are coming off what looks to be a great weekend for them.

The Diesels are returning home after a Saturday night win that completely eliminated the division rival Lake Michigan Admirals from having any shot of entering the post-season.

Along with their victory, the Lima Express fell to the Bloomington Flex on Friday night giving the Diesels some comfort for a sure spot into the playoffs.

The Diesels will host the Pee Dee Vipers who are coming off a loss from the East division leading Rochester Razorsharks.

Tip-off for Sunday's game will begin at 7:05 p.m.
 




Buffalo Looking to Give Fans Big Victory Against Rival Hurricane

BUFFALO, NY -- The Buffalo 716ers (6-7) host the Erie Hurricane (1-11) on Friday, March 21st at 7 p.m. This will be the final meeting of the season between these two teams in Buffalo.

The 716ers are coming off a convincing 156-109 win over the Hurricane last week. A team-high seven players scored at least 10 points in the win. The 716ers have won five out of the last six games.

"We're going to come out, and play hard. Last week is over, I've got the team focusing on this week's game, focusing on getting the win," said head coach Tawan Slaughter.

Friday is wellness night for the 716ers. Health and wellness vendors will be on hand helping to promote healthy lifestyles. Doors open at 6:30, and the game starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at Buffalo716ers.net.
 


Vipers in Final Regular Season Home Game Against East Leading Razorsharks

Florence, SC- The Pee Dee Vipers (10-3) will host their final home game of the regular season Friday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Florence Civic Center. Pee Dee will matchup against division rivals and three-time PBL champions, the Rochester Razorsharks for the third time this season. The two teams met earlier in the season and split a two-game series. The Vipers are calling on all of their fans to make their last home game the best yet; the team needs fans' support!

Following the final regular-season home game, the team heads on a "Midwest Tour" to complete the season on the road. The Vipers will be back in early April for at least one playoff game. 


 


TIDE LOOKING FOR REDEMPTION IN FINAL CONTEST AGAINST ADMIRALS

Markham, IL-  Friday night the Chicago Tide (1-12) will be looking to avenge two early season losses to the Lake Michigan Admirals (6-8), in their second to last home game of the 2014 season.

Both of the previous meetings between the two teams were very close and led to thrilling finishes. In the first contest on February 1st, the Tide found themselves down two points with possession of the ball in the final seconds of the fourth quarter. Former Tide guard, Colin Nickerson, drove and missed a contested layup and the Admirals would go on to win 118-114.

In the second meeting on February 8th, the Tide jumped out to a huge 16-point half time lead, but the Admirals would remain poised and continue to chip away at the lead in the third quarter. The Admirals continued their drive in the fourth and overcame their halftime deficit to pull out a 122-117 victory over the Tide. Isiah Martin led the Tide in scoring with 16 points, shot a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line and pulled down three rebounds for second chance scoring opportunities. 

The Tide will be looking to the team's leading scorer Cedric Ridle (19.5 PPG) to conquer the Admirals second chance scoring abilities, the Admirals average 15 rebounds a game.

Tip-off will be Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

 

 

 

Admirals New Addition Daniel Rodts to Start Friday

St. Joseph, MI. - The Lake Michigan Admirals have signed former Niles High School and Calvin College standout Daniel Rodts for the rest of the season.

After graduating from Calvin College, Daniel has had his opportunities in the minor leagues, but hasn't fulfilled his lifetime
dream to play overseas yet. "I believe we are a program that helps players like Daniel get recognized by other countries. Daniel, is without a doubt, going to play at that next level," stated Chris Glisson.

Rodts stands 6'6" and plays the guard/forward position and he's coming to the Admirals to help them finish the season strong.
