The Premier Basketball League's newest addition to the upcoming season will come with a familiar face to one of the top tier basketball markets in the Midwest.
The Danville Riverhawks, owned and managed by Devin Johnson and Floyd Brown, got their first taste of being in the PBL last season as the owners of the Chicago Tide.
"Having gone through a tough first season in the PBL we wanted to make sure we found a home and community with a passion for basketball that we could cement ourselves in for years to come, and we knew we could get that in Danville," stated Johnson.
"Danville, Illinois is an area that cares about its community and is rich with history and talent. Being a part of something great that positively impacts the community is why God led us to Danville, it's all about progression," said fellow owner Floyd Brown.
The Riverhawks will play all their home games at the David S. Palmer arena in Danville, Illinois. The arena is currently also the home of the Danville Dashers of the Federal Hockey League.
The Premier Basketball League's, 'Keeping Youth Active' program is ready for take-off.
