PBL Overseas Highlight

The Premier Basketball League has sent dozens of players to play overseas on professional contracts this year.

However, this isn't always the best news for local fans to hear. The Lake Michigan Admirals won four of their first seven games of the season with Odgra Bobo, outscoring their opponents 791-757. Bobo had 140 of those points and led the league with 63 assists before his departure.

Then Bobo was offered a major contract to go play overseas in Iraq. The Admirals would go on to win only two more games the rest of the season, but Bobo's success continued.

Bobo was a power force for his new team, Al-Karkh, a struggling team in the Iraqi D1 league. He was brought in to help bring the team success and that's what he did. They didn't win the championship but the team did improve to 12-6, 4th place in the league. Bobo was recognized for his efforts and was named the American Newcomer of the Year.

After Al-Karkh's season ended, Chris Glisson, owner of the Lake Michigan Admirals, was able to get Bobo another great opportunity to play professional basketball in Saudi Arabia.

Bobo played for Al-Fateh in the Saudi Premier Basketball League where his team lost in the championship game. Bobo put up a huge double-double, scoring 31 points and had 12 rebounds.

The Lake Michigan Admirals hope to bring the experienced veteran back for the 2014-15 season. To see Bobo's full stats with the Admirals last season click here.

Are you "Parkering" or "Lebroning"?

In game one, Lebron James of the Miami Heat, claimed he couldn't play because "it was too hot" and had leg cramps that resulted in him having to be carried off the court.

Photos went viral of people crying and being carried away. This was called #lebroning.

Then in game two, Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs, dropped to the floor, curled up in a ball and held his stomach after he took an elbow to the "injured" area, resulting in the new trend; #parkering.

Show us who you're rooting for by doing the mock of the opposite team's player.

San Antonio fans send us your best pose of you "Lebroning".

Miami fans send a photo of you doing your best pose "Parkering".

Send it to us on Facebookand show PBL nation who you're rooting for.
