Playoffs Preview

Rochester vs. Indianapolis

The Premier Basketball League championship series starts April 6th at the Blue Cross Arena. The East division champion Rochester Razorsharks will host the best from the Midwest division Indianapolis Diesels.

The Razorsharks fell only once this year finishing 17-1 and secured home-court advantage for two out of the three games in the championship series.

The Indianapolis Diesels (10-5) will be looking to secure a strong post-season run in their first ever championship series in the PBL.

Game one will be televised on the Soul of the South network for those who will not be able to attend the game in Rochester, New York.

That's a Wrap

This will be the last game of the 2013-14 PBL season for both the Lima Express (6-10) and the Lake Michigan Admirals (6-11).

Both teams have had much more success than what their records show. The Admirals and the Express have had more players sign overseas and move up to the next level of basketball than any other team this year.

Lake Michigan has won two out of the three contests against the Express but expect a big game out of Lima. The season finale will be held at the home of the Express in front of all their fans cheering them on one last time.

The Premier Basketball League regrets to announce the disqualification of the Midwest division Bloomington Flex from this year's post-season competition. They will also be suspended for the 2015 season due to its unwillingness and inability to participate in this year's championship series.

"I'm saddened for the players," said vice president Dominic Turcotte. "I'm saddened for the fans. There are a lot of behind-the-scenes things such as their unwillingness to travel for game one of the championship series despite numerous attempts by the league to assist them with their issues. We just felt for the better of the league it was best we seperate ourselves from Scott (Henderson).
