Rochester RazorSharks Announce Major Signing before Opening Weekend
With RazorSharks opening night nearing, the RazorSharks have revealed the signing of 2014-2015 PBL MVP Troy Jackson, along with former RazorSharks point guard Kyle Randall.
These prove to be two impactful acquisitions as the team heads into the second full week of camp.
Troy Jackson played his 2014-2015 season for the Erie Hurricane of the PBL. He averaged 29.5 points per game, on his way to earning PBL League MVP honors for his performance over Erie’s 10 game regular season. This was highlighted by a 42 point performance against the RazorSharks, which grabbed the attention of fans, players, and coaches alike.
Even with his outstanding performance last season, Head Coach Chris Daleo appreciated the mindset of Jackson coming into camp. “Troy Jackson undoubtedly proved himself in this league by winning MVP last year. He is an intense competitor who played very well at our two free agent camps. I think it says something that the league MVP comes to free agent camps to compete. Troy played and competed hard as ever at both of them.”
