The Premier Basketball League uses all NBA rules with only two exceptions:
- All media time outs take place below the eight and four minute marks of each quarter
- Front court violations and turnovers result in a quick throw-in identical to the FIBA rule
The playoff structure is as follows:
Divisional Series – The top two teams from each division will play a best of three games format cross division. One will play two cross division. The lower seed will host the first game of the series and the higher seed will host games two and three if needed.
Championship Series- Division winners will play a championship series in a best of three games format. The lower seed will host the first game of the series and the higher seed will host games two and three if needed.
**Higher seed will be determined by the team with the better regular season record. If the records are the same, the higher seed is determined by point differential**
